Your data belongs to you. We never sell personal information to third parties. We collect only what we need to deliver and improve the Services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: • Create and manage your account and provide the Services • Process payments and send billing-related communications • Match students with suitable teachers • Track and display learning progress • Send service updates, receipts, and support responses • Personalise your experience on the platform • Improve, analyse, and develop our Services • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Children's Privacy

Treeschool is designed for use by parents and guardians who register accounts on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly allow children under the age of 13 to create their own accounts.

Children's data (name, grade, and learning progress) is linked to the parent/guardian account and is only accessible to the parent/guardian and the assigned teacher. We take particular care to apply appropriate safeguards to data relating to minors and process it only for the purpose of delivering the educational Services.

If you believe a child has provided us personal information without parental consent, please contact us at privacy@treeschool.com and we will delete it promptly.

5. Sharing Your Information

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

With teachers: When a student is enrolled in a class, the teacher can see the student's name, grade level, and progress within that course.

With service providers: We use trusted third-party vendors for hosting, payment processing, analytics, and customer support. These providers are contractually required to handle data securely and in accordance with this policy.

For legal reasons: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Treeschool, our users, or the public.

Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred to the new entity, subject to the same privacy protections.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or audit obligations.

Learning progress records may be retained in anonymised form for product improvement purposes.
